Apologies for the delay in posting. I've been out every opportunity I've had, capturing images in this enjoyable summer swelter. ;) Lately I've been focusing on Small Town Americana Fine Art imagery. Visiting places like nearby Bell Buckle, Winchester, Leiper's Fork and other small to medium sized, Middle TN locales. I enjoy capturing rustic and nostalgic images in these areas that allow to viewer to feel a part of the aesthetic and community in some small way. I've also had my first art gallery submission accepted. The Murfreesboro Church Street Gallery is hosting a Red, White, Blue and You fine art exhibition and have selected two of my works (Still Rolling, The Welcome Corner) for the collection. This is definitely the first of several milestones I'm hoping to accomplish in time. Now the trick is getting it printed and delivered on time. This is something I'm still trying to learn, how to time finishing the actual image with the printing and delivery timescale. My final bit of news to share is that I will be selling my artwork every Saturday, that I can make until Oct, at Murfreesboro's Artist Row that takes place during the Farmer's Market each week. I'll typically have one or two large, metal prints with an assortment of different sized paper print. Some will be limited edition while others will be open edition, but all will be signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. So,
if you find yourself in the area, feel free to swing by!
